18U AUSTIN BANDITOS FINISH 3RD AT PERFECT GAME SOUTH QUALIFIER

Pitching dominated the weekend for the Austin Banditos as they led the tournament in ERA with a 0.55 by only giving up 3 total runs that were earned in 45 innings which also included 45 K's.  For the second year in a row, the 18U Austin Banditos were trying to punch their ticket to the Perfect Game WWBA World Championships in Jupiter, FL and came up short in the semifinals by one run in a 2-1 loss to the South Texas Sliders. Great overall weekend for the Banditos which also saw the 17U Underclass drop a 2-1 decision to the Dallas Patriots in a game that decided the pool winner to advance to the playoff bracket.  #futureisbright
